Pick boundary curve after slab creation

Hello! A suggestion:
Beams, for example, have a parameter ‘Path Curve’, than can still be picked after the beam was created.

Could be the same for slabs, right? I just needed to swap slab’s boundaries, and noticed that it’s not possible. So I had to recreate with the right style, copy over the UV mapping that was there, and delete the old. This could be simpler…
However, there’s stuff to think about, then. Some time ago I asked for a way to select those added/subtracted boundary curves, to be able edit, move, delete them (Can’t find the post anymore).
If they were selectable in some way, couldn’t have a ‘replace’ feature, too?
Thanks!
Best regards
Eugen

Yes, this is something easy to implement. I’ll add it to our wishlist.

You can enable control points of the slab and modify the boundary, and added or subtracted curves.

Thanks a lot!

I see! It’s even possible to delete the subtracted curves… (that was fixed sometime, right?)
However, I tested it with a circular hole before, which does not display control vertices, so I was under the wrong impression that it’s not possible at all. Yet other curve types do display their CVs.

Hi Eugen, this is a known issue. Circles are the only type of curve whose control points are not recognized after a slab subtraction. We will fix this in future versions.

Allright, thanks!
