PDF Import text problem

Attached is a screen shot showing the result of a pdf import at 1 drawing unit =1 Rhino unit (the drawing sheet is 36" x 48".) Why is the text so huge?

Thanks,
Dennis

Hello - how is the model space scaling set for that annotation style?

-Pascal

… Also, please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.
-wim

I reset them all to 1. Still no luck.

Hi - thanks for that. It looks like you are up-to-date with the Rhino version. We fixed a similar issue a while back but there is clearly something still going on. Could you post that pdf file?
-wim

It’s confidential. Can I send it to you privately?

Hello - please send to tech@mcneel.com, with a link back to this topic in your comments.
@dmoyes - your file opens as expected in both V6 and V7, here. Are you Opening or Importing?
Also, I do not see the font you show in your image - only Arial.

-Pascal

I have a similar issue. Import a PDF of a drawing which was probably originally created in AutoCAD. It displays properly in Adobe Acrobat. When imported into Rhino there are 39 layers. The non-text portions import correctly. The text comes in very large and aligned around the origin.

Any suggestions?

Hi David - I guess it would be best if we could have that pdf file - can you send it to tech@mcneel.com, with a link back here in your comments?
