PDF and pictures won´t open in Rhino7

Hi everyone,

my friend uses Rhino7, german version and she cannot import any pdfs nor open any picture in her rhino. I already opend the pdf she needs on my own rhino7, enlish version and everything works fine with it. That means something with her programm isn´t working and not with the pdf or picture files.

The problem more detailed: When she writes the command “_import” she has access to her explorer but the pdfs aren´t even shown up (eventhough they exist). I sent her a pdf from my laptop to open on her rhino but there is an error report as you can see on the pciture attached.

When she wants to open “_picture” the pictures are shown and she can also put it in rhino, but when she clicks on enter the picture just disappears.

When I opend her Rhino file on my laptop everything worked fine. So it must be something wrong with her settings I guess?

We already compared our settings (_options) and there is no Toolbar or Plug Ins in her options either.

Thanks for your reply :slight_smile: However, there is no “Plug-ins” (Step2 not possible) in her options. Also when she goes to Plug-Ins via “Help” nothing happens/ no plug ins open. Do you know what to do about that?

There’s no Options tab called “plugins?” (in German?) That’s incredibly unlikely.
