I would like to know if there is a possibility to block with a password blocks in rhinoceros so that they cannot be modified unless you have the password.
I’ve got the same problem. I’ve been trying to crack it up through different ways:
1- using linked blocks from a different file that is not accesible?
2- using worksessions in a way that one file has the blocks and the other has the rest of items?
3- defining the blocks with grasshopper and setting up a password for the cluster?
I’m not happy with any of the options. There should an easy way of restricting edit access when using one file in a big team. Or maybe to export a .3dm file as read-only?
