Parametric modelling around 3D body - Wearables

Hey Rhino Forum!

Very new to Rhino, and this is my first time posting on the forum!

I got into 3D modelling recently as I’d love to experiment with 3D printed wearable clothing pieces, I am very inspired by an artist called Nusi Quero, particularly this piece (Login • Instagram)

I was just wondering if anyone had any insight into how he creates these patterns, and how he warps them to wrap around the body so nicely?

Any input or advice here is appreciated, much love!

scan the model and project a subd " paper doll" subd surfaces to the scan. Those surfaces become the body facing surfaces, you then copy those surfaces do your scupt and form, then bridge back to the fit surfaces.

Ahh thank you so much! You’re a legend.
