Parametric bricks forming hypar (hyperbolic paraboloid)

Hi all,

I’m working on a project that’s a cross between a pavilion/art installation… but i’m currently stuck (beginner here) trying to figure out how to do the task on GH so I’m hoping that someone would be able to give me a heads up

Using GH, I would like to have parametric bricks form a hypar / hyperbolic paraboloid structure (similar to BRG’s bricked dome below). The idea is that some of the bricks (perhaps more sand>clay) will dissolve over time while some bricks stay (pure clay) leaving the mortar in between as reminder of the old structure.
like this picture below

As that is the final structure that i’d like to 3d print…would it be better to make panells to subdivide the surface forming the grid (mortar)? How do I go about it?

Attached are some files of what i’m talking about.

Help is very much appreciated!

I hope you have triangular bricks…
