Panneling non-uv surface - errors

grasshopper
unhandled

Hi there, Apologies if this is a confusing or silly question, but i’ve only been using grasshopper for a few weeks!

With the assistance of this thread (http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/panelingtools/forum/topics/how-to-panel-a-non-uv-surface)

I have tried to panelise a non-uv surface (that I created using lunchbox and extracted faces) with triangular 3D elements that go inside and outside the surface, like a diamond shape. For some reason the shapes are distroting and aren’t panelling neatly.

Panelise Help File.gh (41.7 KB)
Panelise Help FIle.3dm (479.2 KB)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can use Triangle Mapping in R6 GH1.0…

Panelise Help File_re.gh (46.9 KB)

Thank you so much, that works! Is there any way to use a 4 sided element (like a square prism) to panelise the surface and use point attractors on it? From my understanding its hard to paenlise a 3 sided object with a 4 sided shape
