I`ve noticed some odd behaviour with pagenumber.
When I use it in modelspace it looks ok in printpreview, but when I sent it to print it doesn`t update well, It works fine when pagenumber is applied in layoutspace.

Hi Vincent -
I’ve put this on the list as RH-89428 TextField: PageNumber Issue in Model Space
-wim
@vincent1 That text field was never really intended for regular modeling views. I’m curious to know what you think it should display in a regular modeling view. Should it always just display ####?
Hi Steve,
I usually use textfields only in layout space , but in this case I had a situation where working from modelspace was preferred.
The main issue is the difference between print preview in layoutspace(where everything seems fine) and the actual print.
Some feedback from the text-object would be handy, indeed something like # or maybe the italic fx textfield logo.
regards Vincent
Hi Vincent -
The #### string is the usual error message from text fields.
It sounds like that won’t cause an issue for you in this case.

Hi Wim,
Oh haha didn’t get that, but yes that isn’t the issue altough feedback now is a bit curious.
It seems the last pagenumber before printing stays in place.
It’s a bit like the magic is already there(in print preview), but just doesn’t translate to the final printjob
RH-89428 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 25
