OSnap not always working, software bug?

Hey,

I just update to Rhino 8 (yesterday) after trying the evaluation version for a while with no pb, and after a day of usage the Osnap is starting to be gimmicky… It is really strassfull as I have a project to surrender in a few weeks for schools

Seems to me that I’ve tried it all, it looks like a softaware bug. Has anyone else experienced that ? For most functions the osnap work, but somehow when it come to “move” an objects or copying it to another place, the snap won’t cooperate… (edit: also the polylines won’t snap either aah)

I’ve obviously played with the end, near, point, cent, etc. Tried also resetting all the document properties to default also…

If anyone has any advice ?? I’m desperate for help ahaa

Thanks

I’m on rhino 8 in a Window 10 laptop

Well, it hasn’t done it ever since… My computer must have been particularly tired. So all good.
Thank you

Your computer does not meet Rhino’s minimum system requirements.
This Intel 520 is inadequate, and your drivers are super old.
It probably does a great job with email and Web browsing. That is what that gpu was designed for. Keep it for those tasks and get yourself a better setup for Rhino.

Updating your drivers might help but only up to a point.

If you’re serious about running Rhino with the performance we designed into it, it’s time for a new computer.
