Could someone please tell me what lever or button I need push or switch, to free these characters to a new home… They appear when Rhino 8 starts up.

This happens with an expired Bongo WIP build. Download the latest Bongo WIP and you’ll no longer see those characters.

Like @nathanletwory said, you have an expired Bongo 3 wip installed. A new wip was released not long ago: update to that and the coded message will be no more.
