How do I have Orca calculate the hull shape dependent input quantioties using the hull surface I selected? Or do I have to calculate and input all the quantities “manually”?

did you create the hull sections before hand?
I do not use hooltrop often but for the Savitsky analysis, without having the hull sections the input is incomplete when I open the analysis.

On the left you can select a Load Case that you have previously defined in the Basic Hydros dialog, or create a new load case (these replace the old Design Condition). Here is a draft tutorial video which may be helpful (and which will soon be up on YouTube): Savitsky Analysis Rev 3.1.mp4
