OpenNest: Setting Space to 0

this laser cut model was designed so that the squares would reduce within each bigger square and the largest square would be defined by the edge of the laser cutting sheet. However, i need the space of nesting to be 0, meaning that each shape would touch each other within the sheet. When I do this, grasshopper crashes. Is it possible to nest out the geometry with 0 space? If not I have to alter my design.

Example with 0.1 space producing 3 sheets:

Nesting with spacing set to 0 works in other cases, I’m not sure why it won’t work in this case.

The objects you posted in your sample file are not too difficult to arrange with standard components.
