Offset not Remembering Options?

For instance I select Loose=Yes and every time I run offset command I have to set it to Yes.

You could make an alias, keyboard shortcut, or button with that option set if that is frequently used.

Why do we keep having inconsistent behaviors across all functions and tools? This is starting to annoy me quite a bit.

Is there an actual survey done on what users prefer or whoever makes a thread first gets to decide how the tools behaves??

Scratch that, is it not about preference, it is about coherence. If all functions sticks, then all functions stick. If a function sticks in OffsetSrf then it sticks in Offset.

A way to reduce errors from Offsetting would be.

  1. Let’s not assume all users are stupid.
  2. Let’s not wreck the software coherence in order to baby sit stupid users.
  3. Have Offset display control points when offsetting.

Let’s make distance not stick to reduce errors too! Imagine offsetting 4m when you had to offset 3m, but because the distance was stick you did 4m without realizing!

Meanwhile, OffsetSrf Loose=Yes still sticks after 3 years of the thread you posted.
