When using Offset, the Loose option is a one shot deal; the next run of Offset, it will reset to Loose=No, this is not true for OffsetSrf, which will retain the loose option. It seems these should behave the same. My vote would be for stickiness to win.

Hi Sam - I think it was sticky at first and there was noise -it leads to errors if you do not notice - it may have been Project > Loose initially, and Offset just used that as a model - so it was made non-sticky. The option should behave the same across the board but I think it will have to be non-sticky…
