is there rules for offsetting a closed curve with history and having it update the offset. i am point editing my planar closed hexagon but it is not updating the offset
Seems to be working here - as long as the point editing keeps the original curve planar…

hi mitch, not sure what going on with my machine then, i basically have a honeycomb which is made up of all closed crvs, if i offset them all inwards then adjust the corners of the original hexagons then they adjust but rhino tells me history failed. all of them sit on the construction grid and are planer. if i simplfy the shape down to a rectangle then the same issue happens, history fails
