Offset curve on surface fails

Hi there,

_OffsetCrvOnSrf is failing for an unknown reason, when I try to offset the edge here by 0.05mm:

Here is the problematic model :

When I extract and reassemble these two surface, it does work though:

Anybody knows what is happening, how to work around this issue ?
