Offset command instantly crashes Rhino

In the latest version of Rhino 8 WIP (8.0.23039.08306, 2023-02-08) for macOS and the version before that, calling the Offset command with a curve preselected instantly crashes Rhino.

I select the curve to offset, type Offset, hit ENTER, and Rhino immediately crashes.
