Not responding on almost every file

Hi all,

I have recently been having an issue where I am having multiple instances of GH and Rhino going ‘Not Responding’ and never recover when plugging in nodes.

This doesn’t appear to be specific to a single GH file, it happens on every thing I open.

Does anyone have any insight?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @harry7,

You might consider running Rhino’s SystemInfo command and posting the results in a reply.

Hi @harry7,

That all looks well and normal. Are you using any 3rd party GH plug-ins?

Is this something you can easily repeat and provide steps to?

– Dale

Hi Dale,
Attached is a screenshot of the plugins I have installed.

This issue has started recently without any new additions in plug ins being added.

It’s also not something that is replicable in terms of steps, but happens consistently when using any input / file

Hi @harry7,

That’s quite a load.

You will want to start by removing all of the 3rd party GH plug-ins (just move them to another location) and start Rhino and GH. Do you still get the Not Responding message. If not, then close Rhino and put one of the GH plug-ins back and repeat until you find the offender.

Could this be related? Same Rhino Version, similar behavior.

Could be,
Did you check ram usage?
In my case it takes a couple of hours before things start freezing up
