Not able to open RV6 file saved as RV5 on R5?

Hi . Saving a file as Rhino 5 in Rhino 6 …not able to open the file in Rhino 5…

Is this a bug? I am a bit confused. I can not load it in KS 7 either…It says there is no geometry.

Hi - can you detail the steps that you take to reproduce this?
Seems like exporting from RH6 to the Rhino 5 file format works fine here.

I selected the model I want to export. Export As (V5). Close R6 and open R5 tried to open the file and says it can not be opened…Want me to send you the file?
