No shadows

Hi
I am having problems with my shadows. It seems that no matt er what I do, i can’t get them visible enough. They seem to cast a little, but not enough. And my sun is on.

What display mode are you running?

Please run the Rhino ‘SystemInfo’ command and post the results.

Thanks

Would still be good to know what display mode you are using for your shadows.

I’ve been using arctic, shaded, technical and rendered. But nothing works.

Perhaps share a small example file where you see this problem, that way we perhaps can see what is going on.

Note that arctic mode is pretty much only skylight. Shaded and technical don’t do shadows. Rendered mode should, but as said, a simple and small example file with the problem you are seeing may help.

As you can see it casts only a small shadow. I am a beginner in Rhino, so it´s maybe just adjustment issue.

Hi -

Screenshots aren’t really useful for debugging. Please post the 3dm file.

Hi -

If the file is too big to be attached here, you can upload it on this page - Rhino - Upload to Support.
Make sure to mention the url of this thread in the comments field on that page.
