No curvature analysis of SubD surfaces

No heat map curvature analysis of subd objects (mean, min,max)?
Coming soon or still a long way off? I’m assuming the display render mesh is used for this?

Any update on analyze.surface.curvature analysis? Draft, zebra and environmental work with subd, but the important (at least for me) gaussian, mean, min and max radius aren’t working yet.

Hi Brian, yes those work. But I need to evaluate change in curvature across the model to derive the rate/depth of some features for casting. I really need a curvature graph. For now I’m doing a conversion to nurbs. G

For now we have to convert and check, which defeats the purpose of SubD interactive modeling, with curvature analysis as a working mode.

I heard chatter it’s coming in next week’s built. Huge if true.
