No Clue - Grasshopper

I haven’t a clue on what to do with grasshopper…are there any simple video tutorials to understand the basics.

Also, anything like ‘Presets’ which can distribute objects across surfaces, etc based on grey scale in bitmaps? Or build a series of objects within a grid based on bitmaps?
