New Viewport Naming

I created new viewports in this case with different section views using the section tools. I renamed the Viewports “section 01”, “section 02” etc. and was able to quickly move between different sectional views. However when I typed TOP to get into top view the name on the tab changed to top resulting in two tabs with name TOP.

This defeats the reason for renaming the viewport in the first place. Is there anyway to lock the name or an alternative solution.

Could you provide a bit more information on what you expected to happen when you typed TOP?

Try to run the command "_SetView"
Next the option Cplane or World
than choose a view (eg TOP)
That will change the position of the camera, yet not the name of the view.
