I like the concept of containers, but the present iteration doesn’t seem practical for the users. Take a look at how easy it is to accidentally shift tabs around, and how difficult it is to put them back.
Our Rhino users do not work slow and methodically. They move at a fast pace. Just the slightest twinge of the mouse over the tab and it shifts position and is very difficult to put back. If they are constantly moving to different positions (or undocking) then the whole concept of “muscle memory” goes out the window.
I would like to see a tool to lock down the UI. “Lock docked containers” is a start, but it’s not enough. The video above has the “Lock docked containers” checked on.
