Testing Yesterdays build, it seems on the default provided window layouts, I cannot size the side container when it is docked, I can do that on the same container when I’m working within my user created window layout.
this issue resolved itself after crashing Rhino, mcneel people are aware of this crash and investigating it.

Here the resizing works as expected without Rhino crash.
In Options > Appearance > Containers, do you have “Lock docked containers” checked?
I have it unchecked, it is hit and miss, after leaving rhino idle for a while, it works again
