New to rhino and looking for a advice

Hey Everyone,
I have Rhino 7 7.0.20314.03002, 2020-11-09.
I am tying to find out what is the best way to make a surface/shell out of an odd funnel like design.
I buillt the design with the “control point curve” tool. I want to simply give it a smooth shell and be able to adjust the inner wall thickness. Please check the attachment and let me know what tools i should start focusing on.
Yes I did google around for instructions/videos, unfortunately this is my first rhino project for a 3d print and am not fully knowledgeable with all of the tools.
Thank you,
Kel

Hi @longlivekel
Is the attached file supposed to be symmetrical? If yes, that is a place to start. Also, you need to be way more precise with your curves. Make sure that end points, that should be on other curves, actually are. Look into the Osnaps to help you. Another thing to look out for is simplicity. Try to create your curves using as few control points as possible, as this will help you later on; simple curves lead to simple surfaces. I suggest you take a step back and start looking at the Level 1 and Level 2 training/manuals. There’s a lot to learn from them. If you are going to be serious about surfacing, also check out @sgreenawalt 's excellent videos at ThirtySixVerts - especially the playlist on primary surfacing.
