Nesting groups

I do want to nest some 3D parts that have edges and I do grouped the parts with their corresponding edges but I can’t find a way to use OpenNest with this groups. Looks like is is ungrouping them and it is nesting the edges separately by their associated objects.

It is there a way to maintain this groups after nesting?

Unfortunately if I try to use mixed geometries, I mean, ones with edges and other pieces without edges it is not working anymore.
