Need Help with UV


I cannot figure out how to remove the diagonal lines from the mesh which distorts, and then I stretch the texture meshes. When I click on the surface, they all look clean, joined, and simple, but the UV editor shows these lines on the surfaces.

Please post a file - it makes helping so much easier. If I understand your question correctly, what you are seeing is the triangulation of the surfaces (aka the render mesh), which is what the UV editor uses. It shouldn’t have any impact on what your surfaces look like when textured - unless of course there’s something wrong with the render mesh, but that’s impossible to tell from a screen grab. But what is it that looks distorted? Looking at the screen grab, the mapping looks clean/correct.
