Named Selections... Don't work for blocks?

hmmm… create named selections on sub D… then create a block containing the subD… all the named selections go away… ok…

Soo… create the block… then go into the block… make the named selections… cant do it… select all the faces and edges you want… doesn’t work… is this on purpose?..

Would be nice if selections worked within blocks… or if they could work with blocks… … once you make a block… its gone… …

That is correct, Named Selections cannot be used within block definition objects. You can apply named selections to block instances, but not their definitions. This is due to the way object attributes are created and managed from within Rhino.
