My rhino 8 is not printing anymore

Hello,
For 2 weeks, my rhino 8 has refused to print anything (PDF and image). It is like the printer doesn’t not view the layout. I desinistallated and reinstallated with default settings and nothing has changed.

Furthermore my shaded has become way darker and my computer find it hard to process the model (when i move too quick it turns in wireframe).

I think the problems occured simultaneously. For the sake of my thesis please help

It looks like something messed up your GPU drivers. I’d find the latest version for the GeForce on the NVIDIA site and install that with the “Clean Install” option.

All right, i did what you said and my shaded is corrected, my preview has returned and i can print images. Thank you!

But when i want to print a PDF rhyno crashed. i tried several times, it is always the same result. Do you have any idea what could cause the problem?

There’s still something wrong with the configuration of your PC. The AMD Radeon Graphics is being used instead of the GeForce. Check the settings in the NVIDIA control panel.

I’m not seeing any crash reports from your email address in our system. If the crash reporter pops up, please always send that in.

Ok, i changed my graphic settings and everything is working now! Computers can have two GPU (one cheap and one powerful) and rhino was using the cheap one. To change my settings i followed these indications.

Hybrid graphics laptops are more and more common if you buy a consumer grade machine. (I recommend buying a mobile workstation for professional modeling but these hybrid machines are quite prevalent in the consumer market, especially for students.) They tend to generate a TON of tech support here because of the way they are set up from the factory. Hybrid systems are built with 2 graphics processors.
