After being unable to reach the end of layer lists , now comes a new oddity whereby the layer list in the Properties panel closes-up automatically if you release the press of the LMB.
This makes changing the layer property SUPER-annoying.

Hm, this does not seem to happen to me. The menu remains open without having to keep the LMB pressed.

I just realized that it happens only when the list is so long that it requires an elevator AND the Properties panel is under a certain height…
I can’t reproduce it here either in 8.20.25140.13001 - I made 100 layers and then hit the dropdown in Properties - it stays open here and has a scrollbar. One thing I do note is the scrollbar in that dropdown is not active - you can’t click on it with the mouse and scroll it - you can only use the mouse wheel to scroll.

How many monitors do you use?
What are resolutions of those monitors?
What is the scaling of each monitor?
You can get all this by right-clicking on your Windows desktop and clicking “Display Settings”
