Hi there,
I’m pretty new to Kangaroo and I’m trying to model the behaviour of a paper strip (or LED strip) when forced to follow a 3D curve in space. I pin one edge of the strip to the curve and expect the other edge to gently lean inwards and outwards. However in my model I cannot eliminate wiggles in the free edge, see screenshots. Not sure if I’m missing any relevant input components of if I’m just not applying the correct forces. I’ve tried a few things but don’t get the smooth spring behaviour that one would expect. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for this, Toni - I already had a look through that page but come to the conclusion that I should probably hire someone to solve this problem - is there a mechanism here on the forum where one can outsource things like this ? Or other internet resources where one can find a Kangaroo specialist for hire?
Another approach would be to build a model and 3D scan it. It might be more realistic than trying to mimic material properties in Grasshopper / Kangaroo
