Missing GH Canvas

Hi…where can I find the option to enable grasshopper canvas, the tiles-like or grid background?

Currently, the canvas background is completely solid single color and lacks grid lines.
I have been trying to zoom to the extent and zoom in further, but I have had no luck.

I would like it to look like the attached image.

Hi,

Go to File > Special Folders > Settings Folder.
Open grasshopper_gui.xml

You’ll find the parameters here.

There are also some plugins (like Palette) to do this from Grasshopper directly, but it’s for the most part not available natively.

Ah… Thank you! It prompted me to install the palette when I opened a GH file… That’s why the background became solid… Thank you! I have restored it~ I love the raw GH GUI~

The simplest way to restore default settings is actually to delete this xml file and restart Grasshopper.
