Mesh error on glass solid touching an opaque solid

Hello, I am a Rhino learner! I created a glass solid that shares a surface with another solid that is fully opaque. But I get mesh errors where the two solids “touch”. I am making use of the non destructive edge smoothing so I need the glass solid to be fully closed for that to work. How can I fix? Is there a way to distance the two solids slightly, non destructively, so that the meshes won’t overlap? Thanks!

Hi @Roberta_R1 ,

Please post a simple 3dm file to illustrate your question. At a guess, you will probably need to offset one of the objects slightly, e.g. .001.
