I can’t get my head around how to model a tent with central support poles supporting the membrane in kiwi.
Seems quite easy to do so in kangaroo. As you can essentially use any node in the mesh as an anchorpoint. giving it a displacement goal as well. As I understood kiwi only allows anchorpoints/supports around the edge of the nurbs surface. So the logical approach/strategy would be making an edge locally by cutting out a circular section and defining it as a “bale ring” and then giving it an elevation. other than that I’m lost.. the endgoal being able to simulate a stretch tent in detail with guy lines and support poles on the perimeter and support poles in the middle of the membrane.
