Match with Curvature continuity ofter produces ridiculous results and needs improvement. This has been reported numerous times for a long time.
The root cause appears to be Match with Curvature continuity moves the control points to achieve C2 rather than G2 continuity. G2 continuity is sufficient for curvature continuity and is sufficient for most purposes. C2 continuity is rarely required. If C2 is essential for specialized uses then there should be a separate option for C2 continuity with Curvature continuity be G2 with control point movement and deviation from the input curve minimized.
This problem needs to be resolved!
