hello there.
I was trying to tessellate a surface using a definition in AAD grasshopper book, unsuccessfully.
I will link my gh file and some reference from the book. I think there is something wrong with the positioning of my points but no clue what.
any help will be much appreciated.

you didn’t internalized the geometries in the file…
here is how to do so for te next time: Help Us Help You
3. Attach minimal versions of all the relevant files
If you have a gh
file you have a question about, attach it to the post. Do not expect that people will recreate a file based on a screen-shot because that’s a lot of pointless work. It’s also a good idea to remove everything non-essential from a gh
file. You can use the Internalise Data menu option to cut everything to the left of a parameter:

while playing the “find the differences” thing I found this, doesn’t really look the same, does it?

Just a guess, but is this anything like what you want?
I used a simple cylinder as the base surface.

thank you laurent! thats huge! how I did not find these posts?! I guess I need to be more clever about my searches on this amazing forum.
Most of the time i use google with images so it leads to the good links.
