Mapping Repeat flipping by changing to Channel

Hi @BrianJ,

when I change the Mapping to Mapping Channel 1, the Size/Repeat values are changed drastically.

Is this a bug?

Thanks Michael, I have to admit, I had just accepted this and changed the repeat values after the mapping method. It may indeed be a bug though so I filed https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-57873 for @andy

This is intentional - notice how the label switches from Size to Repeat. Size is in real-world units. Repeat is number-of-times-on the surface. They are reciprocal values, so we switch between the two.

yes, but confusing. Why not to set a comparable repeat value automatically, to get a similar result to start from?
