Make2D is extremely slow in Rhino 8 compared to Rhino 7

Hi all,

I use Make2D a lot in my work, often using it in perspective view. Since upgrading to V8, it has become extremely slow. For comparison, I downloaded a model from GrabCAD, took the head part of this model and tested in perspective view on two Macs.

Rhino 7
iMac(Intel Core i7, 2020): 61.36 seconds
MacBook Pro(M1 Pro, 2021): 59.90 seconds

Rhino 8.1
iMac(Intel Core i7, 2020): 272.11 seconds
MacBook Pro(M1 Pro, 2021): 162.64 seconds

Rhino 8.2
iMac(Intel Core i7, 2020): [not tested]
MacBook Pro(M1 Pro, 2021): 165.88 seconds

Rhino 8.3
iMac(Intel Core i7, 2020): [not tested]
MacBook Pro(M1 Pro, 2021): 170.33 seconds

Rhino 8.4
iMac(Intel Core i7, 2020): [not tested]
MacBook Pro(M1 Pro, 2021): 167.35 seconds

The slowness of the Make2D in V8 appears to be consistent on my computers.

I can confirm similar results in Windows Rhino V7 vs V8. Definitely much slower with this model at least.
