Nope . Nothing I do can give me control of the DISPLAY COLOR of the imported bezel meshes , match the patches TO the bezel meshes or apply a material CONSISTENTLY across the patched and JOINED mesh .
So I just applied materials , was able to disguise the visual error (above) , as it wasn’t a major factor , even IF its wrong , and got this ultimate result -
