Invalid profile curve in loft, this may cause problems and Loft could not be constructed.

It pairs the corresponding lines before joining them (it is important to have identical paths for both).
It is an essential knowledge about the data trees.

Your JOIN CURVES node is connected wrong. ‘P’ input isn’t for curves - read the help associated with each node.

Must either hold SHIFT and connect both wires:

Also if you’re learning grasshopper rather enable names so you can see what the inputs of each node are.
