Load cases generation

Hi Karamba team!

We are trying to add more information to the generated load cases, such as load type (permanent/variable/accidental), load category (EC categories A-H, snow, wind, etc.) and relation (standard/exclusive/together). Currently we are adding this information in a dictionary to the UserData of the created loads. It would be really helpful if it’s possible to create load cases without having to add loads, so we can add this data to that load case instead of the created loads. It would be even more helpful if there’s already an input for these data when creating load cases. Is there any possibility functionality like this is added to a next Karamba release?

thanks, this is a great suggestion! I added a corresponding feature request at Github (see REQUEST: Creation of Load-cases without loads and add metadata to it (type, duration,…) · Issue #139 · karamba3d/K3D_NightlyBuilds).
