Hello, just reporting a bug here. When working on 2D drawings at some point _Dim command bugs and starts repeating itself when when using “Left click” instead of confirming and finishing the command. After drawing the dimension line I can press “Right Click” to stop it but it is annoying. This just happens randomly no matter the file I’m working with, it restores to normal by restarting Rhino.
It’s been happening since I installed Rhino so it’s not a new thing, I just hadn’t got the time to report it.
I recorded a video if you want to check it out.
Best Regards,
Gonzalo Szechter.

Hi Gonzalo -
I’m only seeing this:
Could you run the Rhino SystemInfo
command and copy-paste the result here?

I think I fixed the video privacy settings, now you should be able to watch it.
Rhino is not bugged in this precise moment, do you want me to run it now or when the bug comes up?

It should be the same either way as it’s a report of hardware and certain installed software.

Hello - looks like Continue=Yes at the command line - I cannot tell what button you pick but a right click on the dimension button sets Continue=Yes.

Never saw that command line, I’m kind of embarrassed.
Thank you Pascal, after all you solved what was a major problem for me.
I will erase this post as I think no one will be this lack of sight.
Regards,
Gonzalo.

Hi Gonzalo - no worries, it is easy enough to miss this if you do not know it is there.

Started noticing this today, the text overwrite in the property panel takes no affect on the dimension

Hi David -
I’m not seeing that here.
Please run the Rhino SystemInfo
command and copy-paste the result here. Also please post a simple example model that shows this behavior on your system.

If you don’t want the “30” to appear just erase the “<>” signs. Then, if you want “Edge distance” to appear next to the dimension try checking if a letter o a smaller word works out, so in that case it should be an issue coming from the amount of characters written in the input.
