License Not Found Error on Rhino 8 (MacBook Pro 2024)

Hi everyone,

I am having trouble activating my license for Rhino 8 on my new MacBook Pro (2024). When I try to open the program, I receive the following error message:

“License not found. A license is required to run Rhino. Rhino will now close.”

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

  • Verified that my license is valid and correctly linked to my Rhino account.
  • Disabled my firewall and confirmed a stable internet connection.
  • Fully uninstalled Rhino, deleted all associated files, and reinstalled the program.
  • Tried using the trial version of Rhino, but the same error occurs.
  • Checked that macOS is up to date.

My system specifications:

  • MacBook Pro (2024)
  • macOS 15.1
  • M4 Chip

Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing this issue or what else I could try?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Sarah
