I downloaded the “Rhino 8 for Mac Evaluation” multiple times, but every time I open the application after download it shows this error message. I have a license key on my account, how do I fix this?

When you launch the application, you should be getting this dialog:
When you fill in your eMail address and check the box, your license should be found and you’ll be asked to login with that eMail address.
Then, a webpage will open and you will need to confirm your eMail address, after which that webpage will show that login is completed.
Are you getting any of those dialogs?

Do you have Rhino 7 & Enscape installed?
No, none of these dialogs come up. As soon as the application opens up, it says initializing for about 30 seconds and then the error pops up.
I previously had Enscape installed but deleted it before I downloaded the Rhino 8.
There has been a few users recently with a similar error due to enscape creating the licensing folders with improper permissions, please see this guide to get it sorted out.
