License Key Not Received - Rhino 8 Purchase

I Have recently purchased a Rhino 8 seat but haven’t received my license key so I’m unable to use the software which is setting me back quite significantly.

I have called customer service but since I purchased it from McNeel Miami, due to me being in Latin America, they cannot help. McNeel Miami has not accepted calls or returned emails.

Not sure what to do. Has anyone had similar issues? Any tips on how to deal with this situation.

Thanks.
F.

How long ago is “recently”? Is this a commercial license we’re talking about or an educational license? Educational licenses require an additional verification of student status, it takes more time.

Which customer service did you call? Whom did you speak to? Seattle/North America? McNeel Miami is responsible for Latin America.

Note that they do not generally answer calls on weekends. Which e-mail address are you using to contact them?

Hi Fernanda -

Apart from the questions that Mitch asked you, I see that your evaluation license for Rhino 8 doesn’t expire until September 4th. With an evaluation license, Rhino is fully functional until that expires.

I purchased it on Friday, so 4 days ago. It was not an educational license, it was a commercial license.

I called Seattle, but they informed me they couldn’t help me since it was purchased through the Latin America office and called +1 (305) 513-4445 customer service in Miami with no luck.

I have tried sales@mcneel.com, jackie@mcneel.com & andres@mcneel.com and have received no return on either.

I just need to talk to someone, any help?

I don’t have the license for the evaluation license either. So still can’t use it.

The evaluation license key was shown when you downloaded it for the first time. To get it again, just retry the download with the same email and you should see the key.

I can’t help you with your paid key because I’m just a reseller in Europe, I don’t have access to the system. It’s a holiday (Ascension day)in many parts of the world today, although not in the US.

Hi -

I see that your commercial license was added to your Cloud Zoo account at some point, so you should be all set.

Just in case someone finds this thread when in a similar situation…

When you download Rhino, the evaluation license is automatically added to the Cloud Zoo account and you shouldn’t need a key or revisit the download page to try to find a key.
