Layer Transparency?

Isn’t RMBLayer>Transparency>SetValueOnCli intended to set the display transparency of objects on a particular layer? Not working for me.

Where are you seeing this?

Rhino does not have “transparent” layers.

RMB on a Layer> Choose"Transparency">Set a value on the CLI.
My Rhinoceros here offers it, but it has no effect.

Hi @djhg,

I can see this context menu item was added by a 3rd party plug-in. What plug-ins that do not ship with Rhino do you have installed?

I bet it’s the penguin demo. Maybe it works in penguin render modes. The only other plug-in I have is Va.

Try disabling Penguin using the PlugInManager. This will help narrow down the plug-in that is added the context menu item.
