Layer Column names missing, Mac

Hi,

In the standard layer panel (not layer and detail layer information), and the floating window, some of the column header names are missing regardless of the column width. I thought it might be my template, but the same thing occurs with Rhino templates. Quitting or disabling/enabling the layer column doesn’t fix it either.

Hi wosewick -

You appear to have a much bigger screen than I have and I may be overlooking something…
In your second image, the floating panel seems to have the print color column showing, whereas the docked panel doesn’t. Is that what you are reporting here?
Have you clicked the gear and checked which columns are set to be shown?

This is not information that is saved in a 3dm file.

I’m not sure what means. You picked the gear and selected to show a column and it didn’t?
-wim

have there ever been column headers ?
I doubt.
Standard setting is, to have those columns quite small…

There used to be headers, at least on windows. It’s helpful when you are trying to figure out what each column is on an empty file. For instance “materials” and whatever the last diamond is, isn’t necessarily intuitive unless there are already layers with materials applied.

yep.windows.

but i checked some older mac screenshots of some of my tutorials - none shows headers.
also rhino 6
no headers
see below:

V8 / WIP has them…

for the current V7 mac version
there are tool-tips / mouse-over infos… but they need quite long to show… stay a whlle over the diamond to see the info…
