Lag on adding components with large definition

Hi Team,

My kitesurfing kite design plugin for Rhino, KaroroCAD, written in Grasshopper is now pushing over 8k components.

There is now a noticeable lag in response from Grasshopper when I add new components to the canvas.

I assume this is due to the size of the GH/xml file and how long this takes to update with changes.

Is there any tips/tricks to improve response?

Is GH autosave active? 8k components in a single GH file is quite a feat.

Slow Grasshopper

Removing the Gh autosaving and making sure your previews are turned off should help. [image]

Mine used to look like that until i started using worksessions and maintain paths. [Capture]
