This looks like something rhino could integrate with in some way?

I’m not quite sure what you mean by “integrate with”, but… did you watch the video in the link you posted? It looks as if this was all made in Rhino/Grasshopper (go to 1:13). I reckon that’s as integrated as they come

How a material flexes is crucial to these designs. I wonder if - and how - the flexing of a material can be modelled to respect elasticity, flexibility, and conservation of mass.
